This is my Body
By Lindsay King-Miller

Brigid Byrne is a shopkeeper and single mother in a small Rocky Mountain town. Although she has physically moved away from her hometown, Brigid remains haunted by the memories of growing up under the imposing and fearfully devotional presence of her priest uncle, Father Angus.
Brigid’s childhood crush reconnects with her at a time when her daughter, Dylan, starts to display some terribly troubling behavior. Now, Brigid must face her past, riddled with memories and mysteries from which she has worked so hard to detach.
Some parts dragged on a bit too long for me while others weren’t explored as much as I would have liked, but I still found the story to be enormously impactful. This book will definitely scare the hell out of you.
