Itch!
By Gemma Amor

Josie moved back home to Ellwood when an abusive relationship with her girlfriend, Lena, escalated dramatically.
A small town in rural England, Ellwood was not without its quirks and traditions, including the annual Devil’s March.
When Josie encounters a corpse after the march, she is haunted not only by the trauma of the discovery but a peculiar sense that ants are invading her body.
Josie will soon learn that mysterious murders in this small town might be connected by folklore and dark ancient traditions.
She can only hope to uncover the violent truth before it consumes her.
I wanted to love this book so much more than I did. I was fully in for the first two acts. By the third act, it lost me. I can appreciate a twist, but the story felt like it completely diverged from the premise that was being built up, which was a bit of a let down for me. Still, I’d recommend it, even if it wasn’t exactly what I’d expected.
