Our unnamed protagonist learns about their new job at the Institute by their supervisor (sunbae in Korean).

Their sunbae tells them all kinds of ghost stories about the haunted artifacts housed at the Institute and how they came to be.

This translated novel reads like a collection of short stories that all come together at the Institute. Vividly imaginative and haunting. I could not put it down.
