Rating: 3 out of 5.

The Lightning Bottles were the crowned jewel of the 90s Seattle-grunge scene, navigating fame, jealousy, heartache and addiction in a wild world. When their enigmatic frontman, Elijah Hart, goes mysteriously missing, the world turns against his bandmate and wife, Jane Pyre.

Five years later, a young fan in Berlin may have found a clue that could lead Jane Pyre right back to Elijah again.

This story certainly kept me reading, but it was not without its fair share of melodrama that often is a turn-off for me. I don’t read romance typically for this reason, and this was definitely a romantic drama. While it wasn’t really my bag, it’s not without its own merits, and if you like broken hearted storybook romance, this could be for you.
