WAKE UP AND OPEN YOUR EYES
By Clay McLeod Chapman

When Noah Fairchild, a liberal living in Brooklyn, receives cryptic voicemails from his conservative mother six hours away in Richmond, he starts to get concerned. Fax News has swiftly reprogrammed half of the nation, the insidious oily parasite has infected others through viral YouTube videos and social media wellness trends. Noah just has to hope he is strong enough to get through it.
It seems odd to give a “trigger warning” for political satire, but for those experiencing intense election fatigue, it seems pertinent to mention how close this could hit to home. In a creative way, Chapman tackles the question much of America is asking themselves: how did this happen?
This is the first book I have read by this author and I am struck by his pacing. His words are so easy to binge. Looking forward to reading more from him soon.
