The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires
By Grady Hendrix
APRIL 2020

Rating: 4 out of 5.

With two kids, an emotionally absent husband, and an ill mother-in-law living in her home, Patricia finds reprieve in her book club: a group of ladies who get together to talk animatedly about true crime novels.

Things take a turn for the strange and dangerous, suspiciously around the same time a new man moves into their cozy small town, right across the street from Patricia. But is it all in her imagination?

Patricia learns just how far she’s willing to stretch, and what she’s willing to lose, to protect the innocent.

This book was a lot of fun to read, with genuine moments of shock and suspense. A unique take on vampire lore. Easily would recommend as a great vacation book.
