Rest Stop
By Nat Cassidy

Abe’s grandmother, Bobbe, has had a stroke. While he’s never been altogether fond of the woman, he’s reluctantly making the dutiful trip back home, despite the pressure from his bandmate to practice before their next gig.
He’s left later than he should have, a point his brother has made gratingly clear, but he’ll just take one quick rest stop to load up on snacks and relieve his bladder before he gets back on the road.
Really, what’s the worst that could happen?
Absolutely horrific. I stayed up all night to read it. Literally never put it down. Fantastic, in a terrible, wonderful, truly fucked up way.
