Rabbit hole

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Ten years ago, Teddy’s sister, Angie, went missing, and has never been found. Overcome by the loss, Teddy’s father commits suicide, leaving her mother thrice widowed.

Teddy is left to pick up the pieces on her father’s mysterious investigation into what really happened to her sister and finds herself spiraling into a manic grief-fueled sort of self-destruction, unsure of who she can still trust.

While I did find this story intriguing and difficult to put down, I had some issues with it. The characters feel a bit two-dimensional, their choices and motives often perplexing, intentionally and unintentionally. I feel like I may have missed something, but the ending felt underwhelming and lackluster.
