Crystal has always felt like a background character in her own life, but when a new kid, Aaron Fortin, comes to their high school in Senior year, she will step into the spotlight to call him out for the danger she sees in him.

There is a certain nostalgia to reading Cesare’s works. He captures the feeling of being in high school so completely. The only thing that irked me in this story were a few long stretch assumptions that Crystal makes to drive the story along. Still, this was a fun story to read. American Psycho if Patrick Bateman was a high school social media influencer.
