Amanda is slowly starting to realize that she’s being possessed by a demonic entity named Naamah, who takes a form that reminds her of an invisible friend from her childhood called Pansy.

All I can say after reading this is, wow. Deliciously dark and painfully raw. Amanda was such a relatable main character, and experiencing the slow progression of her demise through her eyes was chilling. Aside from a couple careless homophobic slurs mentioned in the 20-year-old book that could have easily been removed, I still highly recommend this one if you want a quick and creepy read.
