A Short Stay In Hell
By Steven L. Peck

After Soren Johansson loses his life to brain cancer, he finds himself in the last place he ever might have expected: Hell. A good father and husband as well as a devout Mormon, Soren is bemused to learn that, in fact, the Zoroastrian faith is the one true faith, and thus only their followers are spared damnation.
And so, Soren is sent to a hellscape based on The Library of Babel by Jorge Luis Borges where he embarks on a great journey through his “short” stay in Hell.
Thought provoking, comical, and devastatingly existential, I took my time reading this short book for the simple pleasure of savoring the ideas within it. Outstanding.
